Buttered salmon

salmon

ingredients:

Potatoes: 2 pieces (large / diced)
Olive oil: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1,5 teaspoon
Black pepper: half a teaspoon
Salmon fillet: 4 slices
Garlic: 2 ,5 tablespoons (crushed)
Parsley: 2 tablespoons (fresh and chopped)
Lemon juice: 1/3 cup (fresh)
Butter: 12 cup (melted)
White vinegar: 2 tbsp
Chicken broth: 1/4 cup

steps:

Mix the potatoes with the oil, half a tablespoon of crushed garlic, half a teaspoon of salt and a quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper.
Put the potatoes in an oven dish and put them in the oven for 15 minutes, until they are soft and brown.
Remove the potatoes on the side of the plate and put the salmon.
Spread the rest of the garlic amount over the salmon and parsley.
Mix the lemon juice with the butter and add the mixture over the salmon, then season with the rest of the salt and pepper.
Return the dish to the oven and leave for 10 minutes until the salmon is tender.
Fry the dish and serve hot

Methods for melting chocolate

Melting chocolate the right way requires knowledge of you to get a shiny and creamy texture without water getting into the chocolate or crumbling. The secret of defrosting lies in moderate heat and constant stirring.

My Lady’s Kitchen offers you 4 methods for effective and successful melting of chocolate, which ensures the correct application of the recipes you prepare:

1- Use aromatherapy that is used for essential oils. Make one for the chocolates with a deep bowl. Light the candle and put it in place. Place the chocolate bars in the bowl, and keep stirring until they begin to melt. Leave it on a quiet candle fire to keep it melted.

This method is suitable for dipping chopped fruits, biscuits, and marshmallows in melted chocolate.

  1. Melting chocolate in a water bath: Fill 2/3 of the saucepan with boiling water, and put the chocolate in a deep heat-resistant bowl over the mouth of the saucepan. Leave the saucepan over a low heat, stirring, until the chocolate has melted and becomes a creamy consistency.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a bowl directly over low heat while stirring.
  3. Use the microwave to melt the chocolate, by placing it in a glass dish, then insert it into the microwave for 3 minutes with stirring after every minute

Chinese fried rice

ingredients:

Rice: one and a half cups (cooked)
Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
Onions: 1 piece (roughly chopped)
Green onions: 1/4 cup (roughly chopped)
Red hot pepper: 1/4 cup (roughly chopped)
Carrots: a quarter cup
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Eggs: 1 piece (scrambled)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper to taste

steps:

Place a frying pan on medium heat, then add the sesame oil, onion, hot red pepper, and carrots, and stir the ingredients until wilted.
Combine the vegetables in a corner of the pan, add the beaten egg to the bottom, and beat until cooked, and stir the ingredients.
Add the rice to the mixture, add the soy sauce, season with salt and black pepper, stir the ingredients until the flavors overlap, then add the green onions.
Take the pan off the heat and serve hot on your plate

Grilled potatoes with lemon

Ingredients:

Canola oil: a quarter cup
Butter: 12 cup (melted)
Lemon juice: 2 tbsp
Garlic: 3 cloves (crushed)
Oregano: 1 tablespoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: half a teaspoon
Potatoes: 5 pieces (peeled and diced)

steps:

Heat the oven at 200 degrees.
Mix canola oil, melted butter, lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl until ingredients are incorporated.
Place the potatoes in an oven tray, pour the oil mixture, and put them in the oven for 45 minutes until the potatoes are soft and serve hot, along with the grilled meat or chicken.

Orange juice with ginger

Ingredients:

Oranges: 3 grains (peeled)
Ginger: 1 tablespoon (minced)
Lemon: 1 piece (peeled)
Turmeric: half a teaspoon (ground)

steps:

With a mixer, mix the oranges, ginger and lemon well until the ingredients are well incorporated and become smooth.
Add turmeric and mix well.
Strain the mixture in cups and serve

Puree (curd) Italian lemon

Ingredients:

Lemon juice: 160gm (Sicilian mazoni)
Eggs: 3 pieces (large)
Sugar: 12 cup
Flour: 1 tablespoon
Butter: 3 tablespoons (+ 2 teaspoons (50 g))

steps:

Heat Sicilian Mazoni lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a separate bowl.
Add eggs and sugar in the saucepan and stir constantly, then add the flour and stir again until the mixture thickens for 4 to 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat, then remove the saucepan from the heat.
Add the butter, then stir it until smooth, and finally pour it into the jars.

Crepes with cheese

Ingredients:

Cold water: two-thirds of a cup
Flour: 1 cup
Milk: two-thirds of a cup (cold)
Eggs: 2 tablets
Butter: 1/4 cup (melted)
Salt: a quarter of a teaspoon
Cheddar cheese: 1 cup (grated)
Mustard: 2 tbsp

steps:

Put the water, milk, flour, eggs, butter and salt in an electric mixer.
Mix the ingredients until you get a homogeneous paste.
Cover the dough and put it in the fridge for an hour.
Heat a large frying pan on the stove, then add one part of the dough in turn to form the crepe.
Turn the crepes until they are done on both sides.
Repeat the process until the dough is finished.
Brush the crepe with mustard, then spread the cheese and roll it.
Place the crepes in an oven tray, then bake for about 10 – 14 minutes in the oven.

Turkish kofta

Ingredients:

Ground beef: 450 gr
Onion: 1 piece (chopped)
Parsley: 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Tomato sauce: 1 tablespoon
Paprika: a tablespoon
Salt: a teaspoon
Red hot pepper: a teaspoon
Cumin: half a teaspoon
Bread crumbs: a quarter cup
Olive oil: a quarter cup
Eggs: 1 piece

steps:

In a food processor, put the meat, onions, parsley, tomato sauce, breadcrumbs, olive oil and eggs.
Mix the ingredients well so that they overlap each other.
Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin and hot red pepper.
Mix the ingredients again until you get a cohesive meat paste.
Take a portion of the dough, shape it with your hands into medium-sized tablets.
Heat abundant oil over the heat, then fry the kofta patties until they are tender and brown.
Lift the kofta from the oil, put it on a paper towel to soak in the excess oil, then serve it on your table

Caesar salad with shrimp

Ingredients:

Lettuce: 10 leaves
Bread: three quarters of a cup (diced, toasted)
Mayonnaise: 2 tbsp
Water: 2 tbsp
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons (lemon)
Parmesan cheese: 1 teaspoon (grated)
Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon (powder)
Garlic: two cloves (crushed)
Shrimp: 400 grams
Salt: pinch
White pepper: half a teaspoon
Bay leaves: 3 sheets

steps:

Boil shrimp in boiling water with salt, white pepper and bay leaves until soft, that is, about 5 minutes.
Chop the lettuce and put it in a serving bowl.
Drain shrimp and add to bowl.
To prepare the sauce: Mix mayonnaise, water, lemon, Parmesan cheese, pepper and garlic in a bowl and shake well until the ingredients are mixed.
To serve: pour the sauce over the lettuce and shrimp, then add the toast and serve immediately

Avocado salad with sweet potatoes

Sweet Potato: 1 piece (peeled and chopped diced / boiled)
Avocado: 1 piece (peeled and chopped)
Quinoa: 1/4 cup (boiled and drained)
Spinach: 1 cup (baby or coarsely chopped)
Lemon juice: 1 tablet
Olive oil: a tablespoon
Salt: a quarter of a teaspoon
Sesame: half a teaspoon (for garnish)

steps:


Arrange avocado, spinach and sweet potatoes in a plate.
Add the lemon, oil and salt, stir, then garnish with sesame and serve
