Melting chocolate the right way requires knowledge of you to get a shiny and creamy texture without water getting into the chocolate or crumbling. The secret of defrosting lies in moderate heat and constant stirring.
My Lady’s Kitchen offers you 4 methods for effective and successful melting of chocolate, which ensures the correct application of the recipes you prepare:
1- Use aromatherapy that is used for essential oils. Make one for the chocolates with a deep bowl. Light the candle and put it in place. Place the chocolate bars in the bowl, and keep stirring until they begin to melt. Leave it on a quiet candle fire to keep it melted.
This method is suitable for dipping chopped fruits, biscuits, and marshmallows in melted chocolate.
- Melting chocolate in a water bath: Fill 2/3 of the saucepan with boiling water, and put the chocolate in a deep heat-resistant bowl over the mouth of the saucepan. Leave the saucepan over a low heat, stirring, until the chocolate has melted and becomes a creamy consistency.
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl directly over low heat while stirring.
- Use the microwave to melt the chocolate, by placing it in a glass dish, then insert it into the microwave for 3 minutes with stirring after every minute
